Meet Dr. Sarah Clark

Hello, I'm Dr. Sarah Clark, and I am honored to be a part of your smile journey. From the moment you step into our practice, we strive to create a warm environment where you feel like a valued member of our family. I am here to listen to your goals, address your concerns, and ensure that your orthodontic experience is as enjoyable and rewarding as possible.

I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. After serving in the US Air Force as a general dentist, I pursued advanced training through an AEGD residency and specialized in orthodontics at the University of Iowa. Furthermore, I am a board-certified orthodontist and a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics, dedicated to providing top-quality care.

During my time as a general dentist in Ramstein, Germany, I felt a deep desire to make a difference beyond the base. This led me to embark on a transformative humanitarian mission in Mali, Africa. These impactful experiences have shaped my perspective and instilled in me a profound appreciation for the transformative power of dentistry to positively impact lives.

Meet Dr. Tanner Clark

Greetings, I'm Dr. Tanner Clark, and my approach to orthodontic care revolves around teamwork, trust, and creating a positive experience for every patient. Together, we will work towards achieving the smile you've always dreamed of. From your initial consultation to the final result, your satisfaction and happiness are my utmost priorities.

I hold a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the esteemed University of Iowa. With pride, I served in the United States Army, providing exceptional dental care to our brave soldiers. I further specialized in orthodontics, earning a Master's degree (MS) and Certificate in Orthodontics. As a board-certified orthodontist, I remain dedicated to staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field.

When I'm not creating beautiful smiles, I find joy in life's precious moments alongside my remarkable wife, Sarah. We are an active family of runners and triathletes, often seen exploring the trails and backroads of eastern Iowa. Our shared passion for fitness extends to our three lovely sons as well. Life with the Clarks is an adventure, and we welcome you to join us.

Hello, my name is Allison and I am from Fruitland, IA. I graduated from Muscatine High School. I received my Dental Assisting degree from Scott Community College in 1999. I love working with all our patients and making everyone smile.

I enjoy spending time with my 3 children, David, Grant and Laura as well as my boyfriend Rob. When we are not busy with activities, I love reading and spending time with our many animals, family and friends. Go Falcons!!

HI! My name is Casey. I am originally from Montana and I moved to Iowa in 2009. I graduated from Iowa City West High School, then continued my education at Kirkwood Community College to become a dental assistant. I love getting to know our patients.

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends. I also really enjoy volunteering to help give back to the community. I enjoy watching the Hawkeye and doing outdoor activities.

Hey there, I’m LaReya! I was born and raised here in Iowa City and since graduating from West High in 2012 I’ve spent a lot of time working with people. I found a love for orthodontics while stationed in Key West, FL with my husband who was in the US Navy. My previous jobs have given me the opportunity to interact with kids and adults, so I can’t wait to welcome you and your families through the doors here at Clark Orthodontics.

One fun fact about me is that I was a gymnast from age 4 until about 20. In my free time, I love to find new recipes to cook or search for new restaurants to try with family and friends. At home, my husband Kollin and I stay busy with our puppy Kona who loves playing with her favorite squeaky toy or snuggling with us on the couch.

Hi! My name is Laura. I graduated from Hempstead High School in Dubuque, Iowa. After a few years of traveling, I decided to continue my education at Kirkwood Community College where I received my associate degree and certificate for dental assisting.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends. In my spare time, I take time to travel and attend different concerts. I also like being outside with my dog Moose, he is a German Shepherd/Husky mix. Along with Moose, I have two cats, Winston and Binx. A fun fact about me is I love Halloween and all things spooky! #spookyszn

Hi, my name is Natalie! I have been working at Clark Orthodontics since June 2021 as a Dental Assistant. I have been in the dental field for about 3 years. I am from Wilton, and I have a 2-year-old Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd doggo named Sid who I rescued from a shelter in Arizona where I lived for a brief time.

I love to travel and visit my family members that live in different states. In my free time, I like to watch movies and hang out with friends and family.

Hi, I’m Courtney! I am originally from Wilton, Iowa but I’ve been living in Iowa City ever since I started attending the University of Iowa, and have since earned my degree in health and human physiology. Before working here at Clark Orthodontics, I was actually a patient in the Muscatine office!

Years later, I am now training to be a dental assistant, coordinating marketing, and seeing recall patients in the North Liberty office. When I am not at the office, I love playing with my one-year-old puppy, Jazz!

Hi! My name is Hannah Wieskamp and I am from Muscatine, Iowa. I graduated from Muscatine High School and I am currently a student at Kirkwood Community College. I completed the dental assisting program at Kirkwood, and I am finishing my associates of science degree this year. I have been accepted into the dental hygiene program at Kirkwood as well, and I am on the waitlist to start in the fall of 2024.

I am a big fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, and enjoy watching all sports! I played softball and volleyball in high school and played competitive volleyball for Iowa Select and for the Kirkwood Eagles. I also enjoy traveling and spending time with my friends and family! I am excited to get to know our patients!

Hi, my name is Natalie! I am originally from Wilton, Iowa but moved up to the Iowa City area a few years back to attend Kirkwood Community College. I graduated from Kirkwood's dental assisting program this past year and have loved getting to know all of our amazing patients here at Clark Orthodontics since joining the team.

When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending my time with friends and family wether that is watching movies, trying new restaurants or doing various outdoor activities!

Hi! My name is Paighton. I am originally from Pella, Iowa but moved to Iowa City to continue my education at the University of Iowa. Since graduation I have been working as a dental assistant while working towards a degree in dental hygiene. Working as a dental assistant brings me joy because I get to play a hands-on role in promoting oral health, all while being part of a team that's making smiles brighter every day!

Outside of work I enjoy cheering on the Hawkeyes, traveling, and watching tv series. My favorite weekend activity is spending time at the lake boating or hiking the trails, and I also love exploring local shops and restaurants.
